Family Slow Travel — 3 Days
No Sunburn, No Burnout · Luye Deer + Chishang Rice Waves + Zhiben Hot Springs
This itinerary is for families who want to travel together without being run into the ground — and still come home with great photos.
The secret to three-generation travel is to set the pace by the slowest person. This route lets grandparents finish the day, gives kids energy to play, and frees parents from being full-time babysitters.
Follow our Taitung-based editorial team: 3 days staying at a Zhiben (知本) hot-spring hotel, exploring the Rift Valley by day and soaking back in your room by night.
Day 1 ─ Arrival → "Taiwan's Little Nara," Luye
